A, B, C: Accounting,
Bookkeeping (and Consulting)
In the days of hand-written ledgers, bookkeeping
was an important value-added service of CPA firms. Today, computers
make it possible for almost anyone to enter daily transactions and
maintain their own books. In fact, bookkeeping is now a service we
only rarely provide.
Accounting, on the other hand (including analyzing the bookkeeper's
work, adjusting inventory and depreciation, reconciling payroll,
and more) is an area in which we excel.
As QuickBooks Pro Advisors and Certified Peachtree Consultants, we
are expertly qualified to help you establish a bookkeeping system
and train your data entry personnel to use your software to its fullest
intended extent.
Then, in an arrangement typical for our firm, a Dohan Brown Salum
+ Ferro CPA Senior Accountant will regularly analyze and adjust your
bookkeeping data, providing a report to one of our Principals. He
or she will verify the Senior Accountant's work, ask clarifying questions,
and meet personally with you to provide strategic advice or recommend
further analysis.
This kind of engagement leads to the timely preparation of forecasts,
improved budgets, and other management reports that help you make
better business decisions. Which, to an accounting firm that cares
about its clients' success, is always the bottom line.
Reference Accounts
Virtually all of our clients take advantage of our accounting
and consulting services.
Please call for individual references.
